  • General Surface Disinfectant:1% solution: 10ml/ 1 Litre of water: cleaning rooms and contaminated surfaces, equipment and stainless-steel instruments.
  • 3% solution: 30ml / 1 Litre of water: cleansing of dirty and contaminated instruments with organic matters.
  • 3% alcoholic solution: 30ml / 1 Litre of IPA 70% v/v: for disinfection.

Description

Antiseptic Sterilizer is formulated in a precise composition of ingredients and of high quality.

Antiseptic Sterilizer is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and is very effective against embedded viruses.

Mode of Actions:

  • In low concentrations, positively charged Chlorhexidine (C22H30CI2N10) molecules (Cations) are attracted to negative charges on bacterial cell wall, disrupt the cell membrane causing leakage of intracellular components (Potassium, Phosphorous and Pentose) resulting in bacteriostatic effect

 

  • At higher doses, Chlorhexidine induces precipitation of cytoplasmic proteins and nucleic acids of bacterial cell inhibits ATPase, resulting in bacteria

 

  • Cetrimide in aqueous solution dissociates into larger quantity of complex cations, which affect bacterial cell membrane
  • It has activity against Gr ve bacteria and fungi

 

Composition: Strong Cetrimide solution BP equivalent to CetrimideIP 15 % w/v Chlorhexidine Gluconate Solution BPequivalent to Chlorhexidine Gluconate : 1.5 % w/v

Uses : ANTISEPTIC SOLUTION-CE may be used as per the dilution chart or as directed by the physician/ surgeon It is effective on all types of minor cuts, bruises and wounds

1 ml ANTISEPTIC SOLUTION-CE + 15 ml Water.

For all types of first aid : Diluted ANTISEPTIC SOLUTION-CE should be applied on the wound with cotton swab.

Note: ANTISEPTIC SOLUTION-CE should not be used with anionic detergents.

Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes and ears.

Keep out of reach of children.

Use diluted.

Storage: Keep the container well closed, protect from heat & light. Store below 30C
